INTERNATIONAL TOY MUSEUM

Description

The museum is located in Pézenas town centre, 10 metres from the Espace Molière. You can browse the 8,000 pieces contained in this amazing collection. Informative signs offer a more educational way to enjoy the collection, showing the name of the toy, name of the manufacturer, period of manufacture and country of origin. There are also posters and advertising material to be discovered, and old newspapers to be perused. All of these elements are a form of escapism and bear witness to the history of a society where escapism was a necessity at certain times.
