HOUSE OF ART AND CRAFTS / "ATELIERS D'ART DE FRANCE"

Description

The former consular house dating from the seventeenth century, nowadays classified as a Historical Monument, houses the workshop of Art of France in Pézenas. There, the unique items of craftmen-designers are displayed in 4 different spaces dedicated to exhibition and sale spanning over 300m². Decorative objects, furniture, tableware, jewellery, fashion and sculpture, in unique piece or in limited edition, they offer an overview of creative talents.
It was inaugurated in 2012 by "Ateliers d'Art de France" (the workshop of Art of France), in partnership with the city of Pézenas and the Hérault-Méditerranée urban community. The workshop of Art of France is dedicated to increase knowledge of, appreciation and respect for creative profession in our society. The professional union of creative profession unites 6,000 professionals located on the national territory.
