EXHIBITION OF RELIGIOUS ART AND TREASURY AT SAINT-JEAN’S COLLEGIATE CHURCH
The Trésor de la Collégiale Saint-Jean was created inside the old chapter hall. It is a museum space within a religious sanctuary, defined by the treasures it contains. It was created in 1994 at the initiative of the French Ministry of Culture. Its uniqueness stems from the wide variety of works on display, demonstrating the diversity of liturgical tableware and juxtaposing prestigious works with more modest objects to reflect two centuries of creativity. The objects are exhibited in seven display cases so you can also learn about their cultural, historical and artistic merits. The last one is reserved for regional gold and silverware.
