Cap d'Agde, the number one holiday resort

Cap d'Agde is the crown jewel of the seaside resorts of the Mediterranean.
This child of the south, volcanic in origin, bursting with history and resolutely modern in a natural setting offers you the best of its Mediterranean culture in 4 different destinations. Come and discover its history

Agde, the Greek city at the meeting of the waters

Set at the meeting place of fresh and salt waters, where the Herault river and the Canal du Midi run into the Mediterranean sea, Agde is a town rich in 2,600 years of history just waiting to be explored amongst its backstreets of shops and shady promenades.

Le Grau d'Agde, the traditional charm of a Mediterranean village

After crossing the town of Agde, the Herault river makes its lazy way down to the sea. It is there, on the left bank of the river mouth that Le Grau d’Agde is situated.

La Tamarissière, a pine forest by the Mediterranean sea

La Tamarissière is set on the right bank of the mouth of the Herault river. This small village is peacefully situated between the beach and the river, in the shade of a two hundred year old pine forest.
