Between the sea and the land, a precious ecosystem protected by the ADENA.

The lakes of the Herault coast constitute a chain of unique lagoons. Those of Grand Bagnas and Petit Bagnas are showcase examples of this wild and unusual nature. The birds are the major interest in the National Nature Reserve of Bagnas with almost 250 species: pink flamingos, ducks, herons, etc... but also rarer species like black winged stilts, black storks, etc.  In Petit Bagnas, you can find rare vegetation like orchids, sea reeds or tamarisks. Guided visits led by a qualified monitor make it possible to observe nature in the Reserve without disturbing it.
